I’m stunned at how hard it is to find maledom with Guy on AO3, given that he was everyone’s bad boy crush back in the day! Anyway, this scenario could make all that predatory back-and-forth with Marian finally go all the way, with a consummate forced marriage or just Guy pushing his affections on her. Marian is always a fighter and that would probably hold true here as well. Guy is probably not a sadist, but perhaps a little bit of brutality is what he needs for his purposes. Robin can be alluded to, forced to watch (which is fun but don’t have him victim-blame Marian!) or barely mentioned. I’m fine with Marian escaping or not at the end, and with Guy feeling guilty or fully justified. She is canonically somewhat attracted to him, so for a more dubcon angle you could play that up- he desperately wants this to be consensual and she’s not cooperating, but maybe her feelings are more mixed than she’d like them to be.

Ah, Dracula, the original sexy-scary vampire! (Well, his sexiness isn’t totally textual, but I think we all imagine him as at least a little bit sexy.) He canonically attacks Mina in a scene that reads very much like a rape, so for this challenge let’s make that explicit. I’m fine with borrowing the movie convention where he saw a picture Jonathan carried of her and was entranced with her beauty, in addition to simply taking revenge on the group of heroes through her, but please no reincarnated wife plot! You can write a more sexual version of the attack/blood exchange scene from the book, or veer off the written plotline and have him abduct her. Mina is a very brave and resourceful woman, so this could give her a chance to fight back through unconventional means (leaving a trail of clues for potential rescuers to follow, trying to delay him until sunrise ala Nosferatu.) I don’t want her to be in love with him- Jonathan is her true love!- but she can certainly be attracted and horrified by her own attraction. And since she canonically expresses sympathy for him, she might even feel some of that in her darkest hour, wondering how long he has had to live as a cold and eternally hungry ghost.
In the book, Dracula holds Jonathan’s life in pawn for Mina not to scream, so that’s absolutely something you can use! Jonathan might even be conscious and forced to watch, unable to help, which would certainly explain why the night was so traumatic it turned his hair white. Don’t kill him, and don’t make him think any less of Mina for what happens to her (something very similar happened to him, after all!) I could also see him being forced to participate in some way, in a (failed!) attempt on Dracula’s part to kill Mina’s love for him. Jonathan and Mina have a strong bond, but unfortunately that doesn’t mean bad things don’t happen to them.

Poor Lucy suffers a long ordeal of sickness and bad dreams before her death. What’s been happening to her that she’s afraid to tell anyone except Van Helsing about? Lucy is often interpreted as Dracula’s willing victim, but that isn’t how I read the book and that obviously isn’t what I’m looking to see here! You could go into her agonizing nights where an inhuman predator visits her again and again, or show him establishing his dominance of her on her first night as a real vampire. If you’d rather write something more dubcon-y, lean into the dreams and mind control. In this case, Lucy is having erotic dreams that both please her and frighten her in her inability to stop them. Why is she letting him in when she wants to keep him out? Why can’t she stop herself from opening the collar of her nightgown? Why does she find her body doing things that her mind is horrified by?
If you want to diverge from canon, you could have him carry her off to Carfax Abbey before she is entirely turned, and maybe even allow her to escape or be rescued rather than meet her death. It would be a good chance to revel in the spooky atmosphere, crumbling stones and moonless (or full moon) nights, Lucy shivering in her filmy white nightgown and pressed down with her back against the dirt. What’s more goth than that?

Now here’s a ship where you can really dig into the backstory! Take a bride (or multiple brides) and tell me how she came to be in Dracula’s harem. Was she the wife of an enemy he vanquished, whom he claimed as the spoils of war? Was she a simple peasant girl who made the mistake of leaving her house on St. George’s Eve? Was she a woman he seduced as a lover who then found herself unexpectedly plunged into something much darker than she agreed to? If you dig bdsm dynamics, feel free to use them here. Dracula is, after all, probably the ultimate Master.
If you go by the book, there’s no possible happy ending for any of the brides, but I’m open to canon-divergence if you want to allow one to escape or be somehow cured of her condition by the heroes. But that’s an optional detail- I’d like the focus to be on the initial taking and turning. Dracula claims that he is able to love. Show me just how terrifying that love would be.

This movie was absolutely made for anyone who likes Problematic Fanfiction! And it starts right in the Dracula/China segment, where she’s genuinely fighting back and running away until he at last hypnotizes her into compliance. That’s a dubcon scenario right there! She’s established as the Sexy One of the group, but immediately finds herself in over her head, and that gives you a lot of room to play around with levels of consent. Elaborate on the things Dracula can do to her that nobody else can, what scares her so much and what catches her fancy. He’s got a whole dungeon with chains for his “guests”, comfortable bedrooms for nighttime intrusions, and stairs and hallways to trap fleeing heroines. And he’s a suave, mysterious figure who can commit or order his minions to commit horrible acts. Let me see China get something she never asked for, and figure out whether she wants it!
Marquis de Sade/Sarah
Even more Problematic! As doofy as this movie is, the idea of a final girl who’s sexually submissive and a fan of de Sade was truly mind blowing. You could continue the scene we get where he’s whipping her for the entertainment of the prince, with her chained up and unable to resist anything he threatens to do to her, or provide a scenario where he catches up with her in the modern world and means to pick up where he left off. Sarah is canonically into it, though she ultimately kills the man to save Mark, so this should get super dubcon-y. Does she put up only a token resistance, genuinely fight back because she knows once he starts with her she’ll be clay in his hands, or does it all feel so unreal that she lets him guide the way even if some part of her knows it will only end badly? A couple specific DNWs here- I know he talks about whipping her to death, but don’t have him actually kill her! Also, the real de Sade was into lots of stuff in my general DNWs, but please avoid those nevertheless!

I’ve only read the first book, but I was extremely intrigued by this villain who so closely resembled Claire’s lost love even as he was being incredibly cruel- but for better or for worse, it didn’t end up playing with that much. What if it had? What if Jack, already such a psychologically fucked-up man, found that his obsession with Jamie had now grown into an obsession with his wife as well? What if the way she acted so familiar towards him and yet also so afraid proved infuriatingly seductive? This can happen any time in the first book, in addition to or instead of what he does to Jamie, instead of or a continuation of his attack on her when she’s trying to reach the stones, etc. I don’t want him to just be going after her to upset or as a proxy for Jamie, but feel free to explore the psychological twistiness or all this. I just want to see this nasty man be nasty to our heroine!

My very first vampire crush and the girl in his power! I’d love to see the lurid circumstances behind Star coming to live with David and his gang. It could have been something like what happened to Michael, where she was enticed into the cave and tricked into tricking David’s blood while the boys chanted her name, followed by sex she intitially agreed to which suddenly took a turn for the horrific when she realized she wasn’t going to be allowed to leave. She could have been outright kidnapped, a treat for the evening whom David decided he enjoyed enough to keep around. I love David’s mixture of seductive temptation and brash punk machismo, and I’d love to see him pushing around and taking possession of Star.
We know very little about Star herself- we know she lives with the gang, can’t be seen outright defying David’s orders, and tries as hard as she can to resist giving in to her vampiric urges and making her first kill. Getting her perspective on things could be great (having a wild ride with a hot guy on his motorcycle, until he goes farther than they’d talked about and she realizes she’s being kidnapped; having every dark sexual wish fulfilled at the cost of a human life.) The bad-trip cave scene after the blood drinking in the movie gives a great feeling of hallucinogenic eroticism, and I would love if you could capture some of that. Maybe someday Star will escape back to a human life- but not this night.
Dwayne xcons Star
Yeah, this one is because Dwayne is hot. So sue me. But I genuinely think there’s a lot of room to explore the secondary lost boys, and why not the quiet and mysterious one? What’s he thinking as he watches his leader toy with his beautiful prisoner? Maybe he’s jealous, and takes advantage of a time when David isn’t around, and Star would rather die than look to David for help, anyway. Maybe Star is kept as a group sex slave, and Dwayne is simply coming to take his turn (maybe he thinks that at least he’s not treating her as badly as some of the others, or maybe he’s the only one whose dark desires she’s really afraid of.) Or maybe she’s David’s girl, but he gives her to Dwayne one night as a reward- or as a punishment when Star was getting too defiant. Maybe he’s even the one who first found and lured her to the cave, before David asserted his leadership and took her for himself.
How does Star feel about any of this? As with David’s nomination, I’d like to think living with the vampires is a trippy mixture of horror and pleasure. If you want to go in a more dubcon direction, you could play up the dizzy trance state of the ‘wine’ she takes to survive, leaving her unsure of who exactly is taking her, and unable to fight back because the sensations are just so intense. For more straightforward noncon, that wine could be forced down her throat to get her in that state, or she could be fully sober and struggling in Dwayne’s arms when he takes advantage of her.

My first ever fanfic involved Maria (I was so scared of writing an OC!) so I have a special place in my heart for her- and am thus requesting that bad stuff happens to her! The fact that we know so little about her means that you have a lot of freedom when it comes to making this whatever degree of non or dubcon you want. Is she annoyed by regularly getting sexually harassed by the gang at work until that escalates to an outright attack, or does she enjoy flirting with them and go for a happy if risky bike ride with one of them? Everything I’ve said about the sexy confusion that might come from the blood wine holds true here- or are they trying to turn her at all? Is this an attack or recruitment? I love the opening with the boys prowling the boardwalk and creeping on girls, so let’s see what happens when that gets a little more intense!

My newest villain/heroine twisted ship! (I distinctly thought “Oh no, new bad ship!” while watching this.) I’m into this either in the camp era, the 1994 era, or anything in between. Nick is so into Ziggy that he’ll spare her, but not enough that he’ll stop being evil, and that’s wonderful! For a dubcon scenario, you could play with her not being sure of what is the truth, with him being so insistent and dragging her into darker and darker sexual acts until she doesn’t feel like she can say no and be heard- and why does such a nice boy keep saying such suspicious things? For a noncon scenario, she would have found out that he’s the killer, while he tries to assure her that it’s all worth it and they’ll be happy together, still reassuring her while he’s forcing himself on her. Happy or sad endings are both fine, as long as Ziggy survives.

I like the thought of our warrior heroine overpowered but never stopping fighting, even at the hands of her very powerful and very sexy nemesis. There could be some dubcon in here if she got captured intentionally as a trap! It can end with him turning her or her staking him, as you wish.

So all those Victorian scare stories about how if you go down the wrong alley you’ll get kidnapped and sold into slavery probably weren’t true...but what if they were? This can get into abductions, auctions, individual fates and buyers for the victims, possible rescues or full on bad ends.

There are lots of movies I blame for this fantasy! Some of this can overlap with the slavery stuff above, but with a different time period and costumes, and the abduction is only optional. If you want to diverge from canon, you could have him carry her off to Carfax Abbey before she is entirely turned, and maybe even allow her to escape or be rescued rather than meet her death. It would be a good chance to revel in the spooky atmosphere, crumbling stones and moonless (or full moon) nights, Lucy shivering in her filmy white nightgown and pressed down with her back against the dirt. What’s more goth than that?

Now here’s a ship where you can really dig into the backstory! Take a bride (or multiple brides) and tell me how she came to be in Dracula’s harem. Was she the wife of an enemy he vanquished, whom he claimed as the spoils of war? Was she a simple peasant girl who made the mistake of leaving her house on St. George’s Eve? Was she a woman he seduced as a lover who then found herself unexpectedly plunged into something much darker than she agreed to? If you dig bdsm dynamics, feel free to use them here. Dracula is, after all, probably the ultimate Master.
If you go by the book, there’s no possible happy ending for any of the brides, but I’m open to canon-divergence if you want to allow one to escape or be somehow cured of her condition by the heroes. But that’s an optional detail- I’d like the focus to be on the initial taking and turning. Dracula claims that he is able to love. Show me just how terrifying that love would be.

This movie was absolutely made for anyone who likes Problematic Fanfiction! And it starts right in the Dracula/China segment, where she’s genuinely fighting back and running away until he at last hypnotizes her into compliance. That’s a dubcon scenario right there! She’s established as the Sexy One of the group, but immediately finds herself in over her head, and that gives you a lot of room to play around with levels of consent. Elaborate on the things Dracula can do to her that nobody else can, what scares her so much and what catches her fancy. He’s got a whole dungeon with chains for his “guests”, comfortable bedrooms for nighttime intrusions, and stairs and hallways to trap fleeing heroines. And he’s a suave, mysterious figure who can commit or order his minions to commit horrible acts. Let me see China get something she never asked for, and figure out whether she wants it!
Marquis de Sade/Sarah
Even more Problematic! As doofy as this movie is, the idea of a final girl who’s sexually submissive and a fan of de Sade was truly mind blowing. You could continue the scene we get where he’s whipping her for the entertainment of the prince, with her chained up and unable to resist anything he threatens to do to her, or provide a scenario where he catches up with her in the modern world and means to pick up where he left off. Sarah is canonically into it, though she ultimately kills the man to save Mark, so this should get super dubcon-y. Does she put up only a token resistance, genuinely fight back because she knows once he starts with her she’ll be clay in his hands, or does it all feel so unreal that she lets him guide the way even if some part of her knows it will only end badly? A couple specific DNWs here- I know he talks about whipping her to death, but don’t have him actually kill her! Also, the real de Sade was into lots of stuff in my general DNWs, but please avoid those nevertheless!

I’ve only read the first book, but I was extremely intrigued by this villain who so closely resembled Claire’s lost love even as he was being incredibly cruel- but for better or for worse, it didn’t end up playing with that much. What if it had? What if Jack, already such a psychologically fucked-up man, found that his obsession with Jamie had now grown into an obsession with his wife as well? What if the way she acted so familiar towards him and yet also so afraid proved infuriatingly seductive? This can happen any time in the first book, in addition to or instead of what he does to Jamie, instead of or a continuation of his attack on her when she’s trying to reach the stones, etc. I don’t want him to just be going after her to upset or as a proxy for Jamie, but feel free to explore the psychological twistiness or all this. I just want to see this nasty man be nasty to our heroine!

My very first vampire crush and the girl in his power! I’d love to see the lurid circumstances behind Star coming to live with David and his gang. It could have been something like what happened to Michael, where she was enticed into the cave and tricked into tricking David’s blood while the boys chanted her name, followed by sex she intitially agreed to which suddenly took a turn for the horrific when she realized she wasn’t going to be allowed to leave. She could have been outright kidnapped, a treat for the evening whom David decided he enjoyed enough to keep around. I love David’s mixture of seductive temptation and brash punk machismo, and I’d love to see him pushing around and taking possession of Star.
We know very little about Star herself- we know she lives with the gang, can’t be seen outright defying David’s orders, and tries as hard as she can to resist giving in to her vampiric urges and making her first kill. Getting her perspective on things could be great (having a wild ride with a hot guy on his motorcycle, until he goes farther than they’d talked about and she realizes she’s being kidnapped; having every dark sexual wish fulfilled at the cost of a human life.) The bad-trip cave scene after the blood drinking in the movie gives a great feeling of hallucinogenic eroticism, and I would love if you could capture some of that. Maybe someday Star will escape back to a human life- but not this night.
Dwayne xcons Star
Yeah, this one is because Dwayne is hot. So sue me. But I genuinely think there’s a lot of room to explore the secondary lost boys, and why not the quiet and mysterious one? What’s he thinking as he watches his leader toy with his beautiful prisoner? Maybe he’s jealous, and takes advantage of a time when David isn’t around, and Star would rather die than look to David for help, anyway. Maybe Star is kept as a group sex slave, and Dwayne is simply coming to take his turn (maybe he thinks that at least he’s not treating her as badly as some of the others, or maybe he’s the only one whose dark desires she’s really afraid of.) Or maybe she’s David’s girl, but he gives her to Dwayne one night as a reward- or as a punishment when Star was getting too defiant. Maybe he’s even the one who first found and lured her to the cave, before David asserted his leadership and took her for himself.
How does Star feel about any of this? As with David’s nomination, I’d like to think living with the vampires is a trippy mixture of horror and pleasure. If you want to go in a more dubcon direction, you could play up the dizzy trance state of the ‘wine’ she takes to survive, leaving her unsure of who exactly is taking her, and unable to fight back because the sensations are just so intense. For more straightforward noncon, that wine could be forced down her throat to get her in that state, or she could be fully sober and struggling in Dwayne’s arms when he takes advantage of her.

My first ever fanfic involved Maria (I was so scared of writing an OC!) so I have a special place in my heart for her- and am thus requesting that bad stuff happens to her! The fact that we know so little about her means that you have a lot of freedom when it comes to making this whatever degree of non or dubcon you want. Is she annoyed by regularly getting sexually harassed by the gang at work until that escalates to an outright attack, or does she enjoy flirting with them and go for a happy if risky bike ride with one of them? Everything I’ve said about the sexy confusion that might come from the blood wine holds true here- or are they trying to turn her at all? Is this an attack or recruitment? I love the opening with the boys prowling the boardwalk and creeping on girls, so let’s see what happens when that gets a little more intense!

My newest villain/heroine twisted ship! (I distinctly thought “Oh no, new bad ship!” while watching this.) I’m into this either in the camp era, the 1994 era, or anything in between. Nick is so into Ziggy that he’ll spare her, but not enough that he’ll stop being evil, and that’s wonderful! For a dubcon scenario, you could play with her not being sure of what is the truth, with him being so insistent and dragging her into darker and darker sexual acts until she doesn’t feel like she can say no and be heard- and why does such a nice boy keep saying such suspicious things? For a noncon scenario, she would have found out that he’s the killer, while he tries to assure her that it’s all worth it and they’ll be happy together, still reassuring her while he’s forcing himself on her. Happy or sad endings are both fine, as long as Ziggy survives.

There could be some dubcon in here if she got captured intentionally as a trap! It can end with him turning her or her staking him, as you wish.
