Dear Trick or Treat Writer...

 There were so many good things nominated this year, I'm so excited to see what comes out of it all!  I'm RobberBaroness on AO3, and it occurred to me that I should probably have a letter that contains all my requests in one place.  Some prompts are more detailed than others, but I really would be happy to get any of them.

All my requests are open to both tricks and treats, as well as both fic and art.  I'm also opting in to Battle of the Bands!

Halloween Movies - All Media Types
Characters: Laurie Strode (Halloween Movies), Michael Myers (Halloween Movies)

So, one bit in the recent movie ("Did you ever want a girl and you just can't have her?") kind of made me wonder if Michael had a perverse crush on Laurie. I would love to see that, but if that's not your jam, I'd be fine with them reaching some kind of reckoning and understanding. Don't kill Laurie or her family! Anyone else is fair game.

 

Dracula (Movies - Hammer)
Characters: Van Helsing (Hammer), Marianne Danielle (Hammer,) Dracula (Hammer)

Marianne Danielle and Van Helsing are one of my biggest ships! Are they going to get married after the events of Brides of Dracula? Is Dracula himself going to try to take revenge against his enemy and/or creep on Marianne? (You can get as creepy as you want with this.) Don't kill Marianne or Van Helsing (Dracula may live or die as you see fit.) I'll also happily accept gen involving any or all of these characters.

Kushiel's Legacy - Jacqueline Carey

I would love to see Phedre do a spooky roleplay scene, in honor of the season! Her partner can be anyone you desire (I prefer het, but I won't be upset at femslash.) Or she can hang out and talk with other adepts of the Night Court and get in some worldbuilding about what kind of scenes they do.

 

Reynardine | The Mountains High - Anonymous (Song)

Ooh, yes, I love every version of this song! Is Reynardine a vampire? A were-fox? Just a creepy guy? It would be fun to see some spooky seduction of any level of consent here. Pile on the gothic and/or folk horror, though I'd rather not see the young woman die.

 

Ghost Riders in the Sky - Johnny Cash (Song)  

I love Weird West stuff! You can worldbuild, play with the mythology (is this related to the Wild Hunt?), tell me what sins the riders committed to earn their fate, or examine how this encounter changed the cowboy's life. The only DNW I can think of for this specific era is bigotry, even if it's period appropriate.

Did you know this song is about Gef the Talking Mongoose? If you don't, look up Gef the Talking Mongoose! He's the best cryptid ever, and I want more stuff with him, whether it's something eldritch about the nature of his being or just him being cute and funny on the farm.

I love these two so much, it's amazing. So much. I'd be equally happy to see cute romantic scenes, something sexier, or a fight to the death against horrifying monsters. If Dracula reappears, he might be looking for revenge, or possibly creeping on Marianne (get as creepy as you like, if so.) Any rating is fine, just don't kill off Van Helsing or Marianne.

 

Trick 'r Treat (2008)

Rhonda! Naive, Halloween-loving Rhonda! She's just so great, I really want to see more stuff with her. She could finally get to hang out with Sam, the ancient god behind her favorite holiday (some chaste kid-level romance is okay with him but not necessary.) Or, shaken by having committed an indirect murder, she could find solace with some protective older girls who assure her that it was perfectly okay for her to let those kids die. (Can you imagine the werewolf girls babysitting? They would be the best sitters!) Any of these characters could also encounter or fight new kinds of monsters (what about a real vampire or witch?) I just want poor Rhonda to have a fun Halloween.

 

Kushiel's Legacy - Jacqueline Carey

I love all the glimpses we get of the Night Court, and I'd like to see a scene set there. Maledom/female sub, in either combination (though it doesn't have to be hardcore porn if that's not what you're into.) How about a spooky roleplay scene (consensual non-consent is always fun) in honor of the season?

Man, I would love to spend Halloween with the Frog Brothers! You can show them watching horror movies, fighting new kinds of monsters, pushing their vampire comics on more unsuspecting patrons or whatever you want. Don't kill them off, but I'm fine with this being either lighthearted or bloody. Background pairings are fine, just don't bash any characters you're not shipping.  (Side note, I think I accidentally only signed up for fic of this, but I'd be happy with art as well.)

Remember that scene in the recent movie where the kid says to Michael "Have you ever wanted a girl and you just can't have her?" That made me think Michael might have a perverse crush on Laurie. Something creepy from his point of view about his obsession, or from hers when she realizes how he feels about her, would be fun. I'm thinking the crush is unrequited, but I'm also okay with her having weird and complicated feelings back at him. Don't kill or mutilate her (as if she would let you!)
